Jot Mood Board Challenge #5...
9:03 PM
Can I just say straight up -
THANK YOU for all the lovely comments left on my last post.
It is such a thrill to be on the Creative Team at Jot Magazine and it makes it even more meaningful to have people cheering me on and supporting me in this endeavour!
So thank you readers - you are all so kind :-)
So, on the topic of Jot...
THIS is the current Jot Mood Board Challenge!
And I have joined in again but this time as a part of the creative team!! Woohoo!
So this is a part of my contribution to this fortnight's challenge...
Which, all together, becomes...
Materials used include:
- pink cardstock 12x12 inch
- white cardstock 6x12 inch
- water paints
- pink and green journalling pen
- coloured doilies in varying sizes
- yellow tissue paper
- buttons
- feathers
- cotton
- patterened papers
- white glitter Thickers letter stickers
I like to create an element of the design in each layout myself, where I can. Not always but sometimes. When I have an idea of how I want something to look, sometimes I just have to create it myself. In this instance, I pulled out my waterpaints and just by painting on pink and yellow dots to the white cardstock, and then adding some decorative accents to the yellow dots with pink journalling pen, I ended up with a part of my background for the layout! I'm quite chuffed with how it turned out to be honest!
Then it was just a matter of adding all the other decorative touches, the photo and the text, and my layout was done.
Hope you like it.
