Well, we are half way through the year ALREADY!!!

Here is the last photo for the June Snapshots special - it is of little Sprout eating her lunch.

NOODLES - Yum!! She loved them. I am hoping to do some more crafty postings in the next couple of weeks so keep reading.

With Sprinkles of Sunshine...

Yesterday Jason made some progress on our garden plans. He found some old cement blocks behind the shed and has used them here to make an edge for our garden bed down the side of our house. We have had a nice rain here today so everything is wet and glistening.The other week, Jason also collected leftover rocks from the centre garden of our driveway and used them here to make an edge for our rose bed we want to create here in front of our porch. I haven't got a photo of the lattice that we put up against the porch rails. We hope to have a few climbing roses so the lattice will be a great thing. It is also useful as a barrier for Jarrah so she doesn't fall off the porch and get all prickled (when we plant them of course)!

The August Issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine came in the mail today. And I will be watching the television programme tonight aswell. I'm having a right Better Homes and Gardens day. Yay!!

With Sprinkles of Sunshine...

While wiping up the dishes this morning, there was this scratchy ruckus on the window. When I pulled the curtain aside, this is what I saw...Might I add, the kitchen window is a good 2-3 metres off the ground. I suppose he's a typical, adventurous 10 week old kitten hey?
Above is a photo of the poster in the current issue of Frankie magazine. I really like it. I am already planning on framing it with some decorations added to it myself!

JULIA GILLARD! Australia's new Prime Minister as of today.

Some people like it - some people don't.

My opinion?

I like her.

There are some people you can stomach and some people you can't.

I can't stomach Kevin Rudd but I can stomach Julia Gillard.

Having said that, Kevin Rudd's speech this morning was quite emotional at times and I think it is a pity he didn't show more of himself this way during his leadership of our country.

Well, here's to moving forward. I say 'All the best' to Kevin Rudd and 'Go Girl' to Julia.

I would also say to Julia...

'Please don't stuff this up!' :-)

With Sprinkles of Sunshine...

Today I took Jarrah to her first day at Playgroup. She had a WOW of a time making patterns in playdough, riding around in the cars, bouncing balls around and interacting with all the kids. Together we made a picture of a beach scene, she went out to the play equipment and climbed stairs and played in sand. Then the kids finished the day with eating some fruit. It was great to see her having so much fun. We will definitely go back next week!
