Hello!
So today will be quite short and sweet.
I will share ONE word that describes me today...
contemplative
Thinking about the now. Thinking about the future.
Thinking about the real me.
Thinking about my dreams and goals in life.
How to work towards them now and achieve them in the future.
Thinking of the dreams and goals my girls and even my husband have.
Hoping I can nurture them.
Wanting to live life well; to be better.
Thankful for today and the hopes and promises in the tomorrows to come.

Hello!
And today I going with a Monday Makes theme and sharing something I made last week.
A layout I created for the Kraft Plus challenge in April.
Except I wasn't able to get it uploaded to their blog due to our internet being dodgy for the last 4 odd weeks in our WHOLE TOWN and our provider (I'm sure you could guess who!!) hasn't fixed it yet!
So online things are a tad hit 'n' miss at the moment...and so I wasn't able to submit it.
However, I thought I'd share it here :-)
What have you been making lately??

I have a love/hate relationship with LISTS.
I love the idea of what a list can do for productivity BUT I hate them when they don't get enough items ticked off...
that would probably be due to my tendency for writing long lists with grand plans to get lots done that I want to get done!
I'm slowly learning to be more realistic of my expectations for myself and my limits and writing more appropriate lists.
SO...
I have created two lists.
One is for what I want to achieve THIS WEEK coming - starting tomorrow. And I've limited it to 5 items on the list. I think that is quite do-able.
The second one is for goals I have for this month of May. Limited to only 10 items.
Let me share them with you and I'll come back at the appropriate times to let you know how I went.
this week
1. Get IKEA bookcases set up into the appropriate rooms (mine and the girls')
2. Sort girls' books and get onto shelves (same for my room)
3. Get laundry caught up.
4. Clear off dining table. Make it neat and tidy.
5. Invite someone around for morning tea.
this month
1. Clear up papers on desk and file away.
2. Sort yarn (Keep, Donate/Give-away, Discard)
3. Make a list of Works-In-Progress (WIP's)
4. Get caught up with Project Life album.
5. Put together #myselfiescrapbook album.
During April, I participated in a free class with others around the web, in documenting myself and my life through selfies. I loved the process and am really keen to have it completed...not just another half-done project on my desk!
6. Set up desk area in my studio and get using my Silhouette Cameo!!! It's about time!
7. Organise and tidy wardrobe space.
8. Get up at 6am at least 3 times during the month.
I am NOT a morning person but would like to be better at getting up earlier. So I'm starting small and taking it slow ;-)
9. Exercise more.
10. Write a song.

Today I thought that I would share
A quote I like right now.
Unfortunately, lately I have been experiencing many health issues and dealing with the physical, mental and emotional battles that come with them. Let's just say...it's been quite a tough couple of months.
This quote has helped me KICK BUTT everyday.
And with much prayer, faith, and realising that I have got the strength to brave the everyday struggles, I am gradually coming out the other side.
I have much to be grateful for.
What quote or saying is doing great things for you right now??
Please do share :-)

Last year in May, I participated in a challenge to blog everyday in May - instigated by Sunday from Love Happy Daily.
I was thinking through this last week about my little blog here and how I want to engage more and share more frequently SO...
I've decided that setting myself this challenge again this year would be a good idea!
I've written down a rough list of prompts that I can write about and hope to have something up here EVERYDAY this month.
And you are most welcome to join in too, if you so desire.
I'll even add a linky tool at the end of each day's post so you can link up your own blog posts to share the love if you like :-)
(and feel free to save the logo and use for the posts too - I'm fine with that!)

So...today is the first day of May.
Day ONE of the challenge.
I'm going to keep it easy and start off with sharing THREE words that I think best describes me in this season of my life.
passionate. quirky. dreamer.
So - what three words would you choose that best describe you??

Hi there friends!
Here we go with more...
1. So mothers...relate to any of these?? ;-)
2. Well, that does it! I'm enrolling every arty farty activity there is!! And it impacts health in a good way so it's totally warranted!! LOL ;-) Check out what I'm talking about HERE!
3. THIS article tugged the heart-strings a little...well quite a bit actually. So many times I've growled and huffily spat out 'just go to sleep!'
4. Thought this article was interesting. I actually check on my kids before I go to bed, pray for them and tuck them in snugly. I can't go to bed without checking them and whispering love notes in their ears until they smile in their sleep.
Kinda didn't need research or 'experts' to tell me it was a good thing though - I already knew ;-) hehe
5. Baby Powder! Who knew right?
