Blog Everyday In May - Day 30...

Best advice you've received lately.
There is so many bits of advice and quotes that are ingrained in my mind and heart.
This quote resonated with me today...
{ source }
It just stuck out to me for some reason.
Felt I should share it.
But if I am going to focus on the one bit of advice that has actually pretty much become my mantra this year it would have to be this...
{ source }
Three simple words.
But words that I keep in mind when making any decisions or just going about my everyday life.
Sometimes it requires being rather brave to just be you. So many times we do things because other people are doing it, or it's what we feel is expected of us. But is it truly being you?
It's been - and still is - a challenge to me every day to become the person I am meant to be and be happy with just being me.
Because I am special. I am important. I am worthy. I am enough.
And so are you.
So just be YOU.
With Sprinkles of Sunshine...

Both so right and both have just stood out to me. To often I don't listen to what my heart is saying and often go with logic. It's not always the right answer. And the second one is something I try and remind myself often. Both amazing Anna xx
ReplyDeleteLove the first one, thanks for sharing! x
ReplyDeleteBoth awesome quotes! Thanks for sharing them! I love the "Just be you" advice... I need to follow that one often too.. reminds me of a favourite Dr Seuss quote... "You are you and that is true, there's no one in the word who is youer than you" :D
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY!! One of my fave quotes too - good old Dr Seuss!! :-)
DeleteOh, my gosh, those are great. So great. I think I will print them and hang them on my bulletin board by my desk at school, to share with my students. :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth fabulous quotes and advice. Hard to follow sometimes but definitely ones to keep in mind!x
ReplyDeleteI've decided there needs to be something outstanding and positive about getting old - and there it is. It's much easier to follow the "just be you" advice as you get more comfortable with who YOU is! (now I'm sounding like Dr. Seuss!)
