Garden Day...
5:48 PMIt was a good old family Saturday today! It was so much fun just being together - all three of us.
The first thing we did together was go and collect some rocks from the back of the farm...
Little Sprout was so much help and she didn't want to leave. She just kept wanting to collect rocks!
We brought them back to the house and Jason loaded them in a pile at the end of our garden bed which is actually underneath a downpipe on the roof. Jason didn't want any water off the asbestos roof to fall directly on any plants that people might touch or cut flowers off. Just a precautionary measure. And the rocks will be a nice little feature anyway so it will be great once everything is completed.

Of course our little Sprout gladly helped again!
We brought that back and spread out over the sandy dirt and then wet it down. We hope that it will stop the weeds from growing and rot down so we can work it up again through the dirt and introduce some proper soil to get a proper garden going. It will probably be a semi-lengthy process but will be worth it in the end I'm sure!
It was just great to have a productive day but also to be all together having some quality time as a family.
With Sprinkles of Sunshine...
